Associating Rates and Project Resources with a Rate List (Administrator)


The following procedure explains how to associate rates and project resources with a rate list. This procedure should be used after you have completed Adding New Project Resources to the Product List (Administrator).

To associate rates and project resources with a rate list

  1. From the application-level menu, choose View > Site Map > Pricing Administration > Rate List.
  2. In the Rate Lists list, select the rate list that you want to add rates to.
  3. In the selected record, click the hyperlink in the Rate List field to display a Rate List form and a Rate List Line Items list.
  4. In the Rate List Line Items list, click New to display the Add Position Types dialog box.
  5. NOTE:  The resources that appear in the Add Position Types dialog box have been defined as products in the Siebel application. For example, the project resource that you created in Adding New Project Resources to the Product List (Administrator).

  6. In the Add Position Types dialog box, select the project resource to be added to the rate list, and then click OK.
  7. The selected project resource appears in the Resource field.

  8. In the Rate List Line Items list, complete the remaining fields. Some fields are described in the following table.
  9. Field
    Comments
    Rate/Hour
    Standard charge per hour for the specified project resource product.
    Resource
    Project resource product for which the rate is being specified, such as Consultant or Field Engineer.
