Resource Management

This chapter describes resource management functionality, and provides a business scenario and end-user procedures.

Resource management is designed to manage the process of staffing resources for project assignments. Practice managers, engagement managers, and project managers identify required resources for a project and create records in the Team Workbook view. These records also serve as resource requests. Resource managers process these requests by reviewing them and searching for the best resources to fill them based on skills and availability. Resource managers can directly assign a resource to fill the request, or they can provide candidates for consideration.
