List Toolbar


The List toolbar contains options that apply to object definitions in the Object List Editor. The options let you insert new records, move forward and backward, work with queries, and sort object definitions. The List toolbar contains the following buttons:

Add New Record. Creates a new object definition in the Object List Editor, with the cursor positioned in the first required property.

First Record. Goes to the first object definition in the list.

Previous Record. Goes to the object definition above the current selection.

Next Record. Goes to the object definition below the current selection.

Last Record. Goes to the last object definition in the list.

New Query. Allows you to specify one or more restrictions on the set of object definitions to be displayed in the current Object List Editor window.

Execute Query. Executes the query you have just specified, causing the restrictions to take effect. This has the same effect as pressing ENTER.

Sort Ascending. Changes the order in which object definitions appear by sorting them in ascending order on the currently selected property column.

Sort Descending. Changes the order in which object definitions appear by sorting them in descending order on the currently selected property column.
