Manually Closing an Auction

By default, all items will automatically end at a specified Close time. As an auction lister, you can manually close one of your auctions at any time. When you close an auction, the auction ends and no more bids will be accepted.

To manually close an auction

  1. Navigate to the Catalog Administration screen.
  2. Click the hyperlink for the catalog that contains the auction you want to close.

    3. The Categories screen appears.

  3. Select the category that contains the auction you want to close.
  4. Click the Auctions tab.

    5. The Auction screen appears.

  5. Click the hyperlink for the auction you want to close.
  6. Verify that this is the auction you want to close, and click Close.

    7. A pop-up dialog box appears.

  7. Click Yes to close the auction.
