Bidding on a Reverse Auction

To place a bid on a Reverse auction

  1. Navigate to the Auction Item Detail screen for the Reverse auction item.

  2. To set the AutoBid feature, type the lowest bid amount you are willing to accept in the My Minimum Bid field.

    3. AutoBid automatically changes your bid to the next best winning bid as soon as other bids are received, up to the point where the system reaches the AutoBid bid amount you entered.

  3. In the My Quantity field, enter the number of items on which you want to bid.
  4. If you will accept less than the quantity you entered in the My Quantity field, click to check Accept Partial Quantities.

    5. NOTE:  The Accept Partial Quantities field does not display if the quantity is one.

  5. Click Place Bid.

    6. If your bid was entered correctly, it is entered into the auction and the auction is added to your My Auctions or My RFQs screen.
