Setting Up Notifications

Users can be notified of certain events through notifications. These notifications arrive by email or by wireless message. As the global administrator, you set up all notifications.

The server component that sends outbound communications is Communications Outbound Manager, and it is invoked from the workflow using the Outbound Communications Manager business service. The server component is part of the Communications Management component group.
