Basic Search

A basic search only searches the Auction Name, Description, and Featured fields for a match. Basic search is not case-sensitive, and it will not return inactive or closed catalog auction items.

To conduct a basic search

  1. From any Auction screen, type a keyword in the Search field.
  2. Click Go.

    3. The results of your search display in the Results list.

  3. To search by auction items, select Auction Items from the Look In drop list and click Search.

    4. The results of your new search display in the Results list.

  4. Click the hyperlink for the auction you want to view.

    5. NOTE:  If the basic search does not find the item you need or returns too many results, click Auctions Advanced Search to refine your search. The Auctions Advanced Search only appears on the Auctions screen.
