Selecting the Catalog and Category

You need to determine the catalog and category for your new auction.

To select the catalog and category for a new auction

From the Auctions screen, click Create Auction/RFQ.

The Catalogs screen appears.

NOTE:  Click the tab jump (forward and backward arrows) buttons to move back and forth between the catalog listings.

To select a catalog, click the hyperlink for that catalog.

The Categories screen for that catalog appears.

NOTE:  To return to the Catalogs screen to select a different catalog, click the Select Catalog:Catalog Name hyperlink above the Categories list.

To select a category, select the category from the Categories list and click Select.

The category is added to the Selected Auction Categories list on the right.

To remove a category from the Selected Categories list, click Delete on the line for that category and click Yes in the confirmation dialog box.

The category is removed from the Selected Categories list.

NOTE:  If a subcategory is present, you can select it by clicking the + to expand the category and display the subcategories. Check the subcategory you want and click Select. The subcategory is added to the Selected Categories list.

To begin the Create Auction wizard, click Continue on the Selected Categories list.

The Create Auction wizard screen appears.
