How This Guide Is Organized
The Siebel eAuction Guide is composed of fourteen chapters and two appendices.
This first chapters contain procedures for configuring, creating, and managing online auctions with Siebel eAuction. The audience is primarily auction administrators.
The second section contains procedures for navigating, bidding, and listing items in an online auction. The audience is primarily auction end-users.
The third section details the bidding logic used in Siebel eAuction. The audience is primarily auction administrators.
The first appendix lists the Siebel eAuction system preferences. The second appendix covers the usage of the XML Application Programming Interface (API) and is intended for programmers as well as auction administrators. The audience for both appendices is primarily auction administrators.
