To create a native document, perform these tasks:
In the menu on the Site Assets pane, select Native Documents.
Click the Create New icon (Figure), select New, and then select a document type from the list:
Microsoft Word 97-2003 Document
Microsoft Word Document
Microsoft Excel 97-2003 Workbook
Microsoft Excel Workbook
Microsoft Powerpoint 97-2003 Presentation
Microsoft Powerpoint Presentation
Microsoft Visio Document
Adobe Frame Maker
Adobe Photoshop Image
Text Document
Rich Text Format
The Assign Info Form displays for you to check the item into the content server.
Enter appropriate values for the Assign Info Form.
When complete, click Assign Info.
The (blank) native document is created. It may be necessary to click the Refresh icon (Figure) to view the native document in the list.
