Creating a New Script

To create a script, perform these tasks:

1. In the menu on the Site Assets pane, select Scripts.

2. Click the Create New icon (Figure), select New, and then Javascript File or VBScript File.

   The Assign Info Form displays for you to check the item into the content server.

   
   

   Note: VBScript cannot be used to write custom validation scripts.

3. Enter appropriate values for the Assign Info Form.

4. When complete, click Assign Info.

5. The script is created. It may be necessary to click the Refresh icon (Figure) to view the script in the list.

When a new script is added, there is no code in it. It is blank.
