Removing a Section From the Site Hierarchy

You can remove sections from your Web site using the Site Hierarchy pane in Designer.

To remove a section, perform these tasks:

1. In the Site Hierarchy pane, right-click the section to remove and click Delete Section.

2. Click OK to confirm the deletion.

If this section was also included in your site navigation, the link is removed from the Web site when you update the navigation. You are prompted to update the navigation file when you preview the page template. You can also update this file manually by clicking the Update Navigation icon (Figure) on the Site toolbar.
