Working With Fragments

Fragments provide an additional tool for building and maintaining Web sites. A fragment is like a packaged feature or piece of functionality that can be managed separately from the page template both before it is added and after it is added.

Fragments are an option for content that must be dynamic, requires frequent updates, and reused throughout a Web site or multiple Web sites. You can turn just about any piece of content, from a simple line of text to a server-side script, into a fragment.
