Removing a Section

You can remove a section from the site hierarchy so that it no longer appears on the Web site. To remove a section, perform these steps:

  1. Launch the Site Manager Application (see Launching Site Manager).

  2. Select the section in the site hierarchy to remove, and do either of the following:

    • With the mouse cursor on the selected section in the site hierarchy, right-click and choose Remove this section.

    • On the Section tab, click Remove.

  3. Click OK to the confirmation message.

After a short delay, the section is removed from the site hierarchy.


Note:

Even though you remove a section, the content associated with that section (page templates, fragments, graphics, and so on) remains in the content server and associated with your Web site.
