This is a text description of ofs_configcomponents.gif, which is an image of the hardware and software components configured with Oracle Fail Safe. The private disks of each cluster node store the executable application files for the following software:

• Oracle Fail Safe

• Microsoft Windows operating system

• Microsoft Cluster Server

• Oracle homes

• Third-party applications

The cluster disks store the application data and log files, such as the following:

• Database data files

• Database control files

• Database log files
