Review Configure and manage Agents.
The General tab on the Agent page enables you to configure information about the ESX Agent and its Virtual Center. You configure the general properties initially when you create an Agent using the WLOC Configuration Wizard, as described in Configuring the Controller and Agents.
To configure the general properties for an Agent:

VC Username |

Interval of time (in seconds) that the ESX Agent polls the VMware VirtualCenter to check for life cycle changes for the instances it is managing. |

Password used to authenticate the Agent with the Controller. It must match the password defined for the corresponding Agent binding, as described in Register Agents with the Controller. If you edit the Password field, you must shut down and restart the Agent, as described in Shut down Agents and Starting and Stopping the Controller and Agents, respectively. |
