Configure the resource pool networks for ESX Agents

Before you begin

Review Configure and manage Agents.

The Networks tab on the Resource Pools page for ESX Agents enables you to configure the resource pool networks (essentially the virtual machines) on which you can deploy the WLOC services. You configure the resource pool networks initially when you create an ESX Agent using the WLOC Configuration Wizard, as described in Configuring the Controller and Agents.

To configure a resource pool network for an ESX Agent:

  1. Access the ESX Agent page in one of the following ways:
    • Click the Inventory tab in the WLOC navigation bar, expand the list of Agents in the Inventory pane, and click the name of the ESX Agent.
    • Click the Agents tab in the WLOC navigation bar and click the name of the ESX Agent that you want to configure in the Agents table.
    • Click the Home tab in the WLOC navigation bar, click Agents under Manage Configuration, and click the name of the ESX Agent that you want to configure in the Agents table.
  2. Click the Resource Pool tab on the Agent page.
  3. Click the Networks tab.

The list of currently defined networks is displayed in the Networks table.
