Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Server Environments

In homogeneous server environments, Siebel Gateway Name Server, Siebel Servers, and Web servers are all deployed on computers that are running the same operating system. In heterogeneous server environments, Siebel Gateway Name Server, Siebel Servers, and Web servers can be deployed on different supported platforms.
