Installing Oracle BI Disconnected Analytics on Users' Machines

You can assist users in installing Oracle BI Disconnected Analytics in one of two ways:

• Allow users to install from the Oracle Business Intelligence installation wizard by temporarily mapping a network drive to the shared path with the CD image and starting the wizard.
• Provide users with information on running the response file that you created in Step 1: Creating and Testing Silent Installation for Oracle BI Disconnected Analytics. The users can temporarily map a network drive to the shared path with the CD image and the response file. From a command window, the users execute the BAT file.

  NOTE:  The installation is completely silent unless you provide a notification message to the disconnected user.
