Creating a Web Share for Siebel Analytics Web

This task is part of the process Configuring HTTP Web Servers for Analytics.

This method is simpler than that described in Creating a WebARchive (WAR) File for Siebel Analytics Web, but is not supported by all Java Web servers. Apache Tomcat server and some versions of Sun One server do support this method.

You can use this method if your Web server supports creation of Web shares by mapping the root URL to a directory on the hard drive.

To create a Web share

• Assign the URL /analytics to the <Analytics Root>/web/app directory.
