Configuring Global Currencies and Exchange Rate Types

This task is a step in the Process for Configuring Currencies.

You can configure the three global currencies, as well as the exchange rate types you want to use when converting into each of these three global currencies. Also, you can configure the default exchange rate type you want to use when converting.

To configure global currencies and exchange rate types

1. Log into DAC
2. Navigate to your custom container.
3. Click on the 'Source System Parameters' tab
4. Locate the following parameters: $$GLOBAL1_CURR_CODE, $$GLOBAL1_RATE_TYPE, $$GLOBAL2_CURR_CODE, $$GLOBAL2_RATE_TYPE, $$GLOBAL3_CURR_CODE, $$GLOBAL3_RATE_TYPE, $$DEFAULT_LOC_RATE_TYPE.
5. For each of the paramter, in the 'value' box, set your own values.
