3 Equipment Assignment

Equipment assignment functionality is used for assigning an equipment class or piece of equipment to a user ID. The assignment stays valid throughout the RF session.

From the main menu, select Equip Assign. The Equipment Assign screen opens. The user ID is automatically filled in.

1. In the Equipment field, enter the equipment or press F5 to select an equipment form the list.

   Select the equipment or enter% to get a list of values. After selecting an equipment, click OK.

   
   

   Note: Only equipment that you are authorized to operate can be selected using this screen.

   
   

2. [Optional] In the Device field, enter the device or press F5 to select a device from the list.

3. Press the F4 (Done) key to accept the assignment.
