Monitoring an Enterprise
application refers to monitoring the individual modules that make up the
application, such as the EJBs, Web Service, Web applications, and so
on.
To monitor the modules of an Enterprise application, follow these
steps:
In the left
pane of the Console, click the Deployments
folder. A table that lists all the deployments currently installed on
WebLogic Server appears in the right pane. The Type column specifies
whether a deployment is an Enterprise application, a Web application,
or an EJB module.
In Deployments table, click the name of the Enterprise
application whose modules you want to monitor.
Click the Overview tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to the Modules and
Components table, which lists the J2EE modules that make up the
application. The Type column specifies the type of module, such
as EJB, Web application, or Web Service. Click on the name of the
module to further configure and monitor it.
Click the Monitoring tab.
Click the Workload tab to view statistics for the work
managers, constraints, and request classes that are configured
specifically for this Enterprise application.
