When you update a deployment, WebLogic Server redeploys the
deployment's archive file or exploded directory. Update an EJB if you
have made changes to it and you want to make the changes available to
WebLogic Server clients.
To update (redeploy) a stopped
EJB:
If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the left pane of
the Administration Console, select
Deployments.
Select the check boxes next to the EJBs you want to update.
Click
Update.
In the Update Application Assistant, click
Finish.
To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes. Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
