Create SAF topic security roles


To create a SAF topic security role:

  1. If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
  2. In the Administration Console, navigate to the SAF imported destination resource that you want to configure:
  3. On the Configuration > Topics tab, select the SAF topic where you want to create the security role.
  4. On the Security > Roles tab, Click New.
  5. On the Role Properties page, enter the name of the new security role.
  6. Click Ok.
  7. To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
    Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).
