Modify groups

To modify a group description or to add or remove groups from other groups:

  1. In the left pane select Security Realms.
  2. On the Summary of Security Realms page select the name of the realm (for example, myrealm).
  3. On the Settings for Realm Name page select Users and Groups > Groups.
  4. Select the group from the table.

    If you have a large number of groups, use the Customize this table link to retrieve and list only the groups that match your search criteria. The Filter By field uses the asterisk (*) as the wildcard column label to sort by name, or sort by any other column.

  5. change the group description or group membership:
    • To edit the group description select General.
    • To change group membership, select Membership. For more information, see Add groups to other groups.
  6. Click Save.
