Delete constraints

Before you begin

Review Define and assign policies.

Deleting a constraint may have adverse effects on your SLAs. Before deleting a constraint, ensure that the constraint is not being used in an active policy. It is recommended that you enable the Require Confirmation for Delete/Remove Operations flag to prevent accidental delete and remove operations. See Set console preferences.

To delete constraints:

  1. Access the Policies page in one of the following ways:
    • Click the Policies tab in the WLOC navigation bar, click the Definitions tab, and click the Rules tab.
    • Click the Home tab in the WLOC navigation bar and click Rule Definitions under Manage Policies.

The list of currently defined constraints is displayed in the Rules table.

  2. Click the check box next to each constraint that you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete Policy Definition.
The selected policies are deleted and the following confirmation message displays:
    Policies deleted successfully
