Modify users

Before you begin

Read Manage users, groups, and roles.


To edit the user profile information:

  1. Access the Users page in one of the following ways:
    • Click the Controller tab in the WLOC navigation bar, click the Security tab on the Controller page, and click the Users tab on the Security page.
    • Click the Home tab in the WLOC navigation bar and click Users under Manage Security.

    The list of users currently defined is displayed in the Users table.

  2. To filter the list of users, enter Column=Value in the text box and click Filter.

    Column specifies the table column name on which you want to filter. Value specifies a string value on which to filter the contents. To clear the filter, click Clear Filter.

  3. Click the name of the user that you want to edit in the Users table.
  4. Modify the user description or password.

    To modify the user groups or roles, see Assign users to groups and Assign users and groups to roles.

  5. Click Finish.

After you finish

For more efficient management, Oracle recommends that you assign users to Assign users to groups or Assign users and groups to roles.
