A Service record provides us with: Technical information about how it can be invoked; business information about how it should be used; the state it is currently in; and more common information about who its provider is and an informative text description.
When you browse through a list of services, logging into a profile will provide you with results and views tailored to your needs. Further, some publishers may restrict record access to specific users and groups. When you browse through lists of registry records as a "guest", you will be limited to viewing a narrower record set.
If you are not already in the Search control, click the Search tab.
In the List column click the Service link. The Browse service control will load. This control simply contains a list of services that you can sort and filter. Under most user profiles this will default to the Default view.
