Publishing a Provider (Business)

In classic UDDI, Businesses provide all underlying services related registry entities and policies. The term Business refers to any organizational unit responsible for providing, maintaining and guaranteeing the performance and conformance of services and their bindings.

Before you can publish a Provider (Business) you need to have a registered account. You must also be logged in on that account.

To Publish a Provider (Business)...

  1. Once you have logged into your account the Publish tab will be visible. Click on the Publish item in the menu on this page.

  2. In the Publish page that loads click the Add business button.

  3. A Provider (Business) minimally requires a name. Enter a meaningful name for your business in the Name edit box. You can also add a meaningful description and set the default language in which this information is accessible. If you already have a globally or universally unique key for this provider, as furnished by the registry administrator, you can enter it in the Business Key edit box. If you have no key the registry will generate one. So, leave this box empty.

  4. At the bottom of the page, click the Add business button.

  5. The Edit Business page will load. Your business has been successfully added to the registry.
