Generic Resource documents reference portType and binding elements to be reused in implementation Web services. When building Web service applications it is important that they be understood.
If you have not yet done so, Log in.
Click the Catalog tab in the upper left corner of the console.
Click the Generic Resources node. This loads the Generic Resources view in the central panel.
Click the Search Generic Resources link. This loads the Search Generic Resources control.
Here you can set your search criteria by Name. The "%" wildcard can be used to expand the term from its head, middle and end.
Click the Find button. This will load a common view of a Generic Resources list containing all records matching the query.
Select the column on which you wish to apply the filter in the Filter column list box. Default columns in this view include Name, Discription, and Overview documentation. View columns can be customized by the administrator so this list might not completely reflect the console with which you are working.
Enter the filter string in the Filter value edit box. Wildcards can be used. The "%" character is replaced by any number of characters. The "_" character is replaced by any single character. The "\" character escapes these and itself. The end of the string is treated as if it has a "%" wildcard suffix so there is no need to add a terminating wildcard.
Click the Filter button. The view is updated with only those records matching the filter.
