IContentItemManager.GetContentItem Method (String)

Returns an IContentItem by its UUID.

IContentItem GetContentItem(
string UUID
);

UUID: The IDataEntryTemplate UUID. The UUID of an object can be obtained using the UUID property in the IContentItem class; cannot be null, empty or longer than 255 characters.

The IContentItem or null if the item does was not found.

Exception Type	Condition
ArgumentException	The UUID is an empty string or longer than 255 characters.
ContentSecurityException	The user does not have permission to access the content item.
ContentException	The method call resulted in a Content Server exception.
SoapException	There was a communication problem during the execution of the remote method call.
