IContentItemManager.RemoveContentItem Method

Deletes the IContentItem.

IContentItem contentItem
);

Parameters

contentItem: The content item to be deleted; cannot be null.

Remarks

Note that an item can be removed even if it is published. An InvalidOperationException will be thrown if remove is called on a checked-out content item.

Exceptions

Exception Type	Condition
ContentSecurityException	The user does not have permission to delete the item.
ContentException	The method call resulted in a Content Server exception.
InvalidOperationException	The content item is checked-out.
SoapException	There was a communication problem during the execution of the remote method call.
