These tips can help you use
the Master Data Administration Console more efficiently:
- When you first log into the Master Data Administration Console,
you may have to click an item twice to display the desired page. After
this first irregularity, links will behave as expected.
- When you click in a field in a table to edit existing content, you
cannot click in the field a second time to select part of the string
or to place the cursor in a certain position. You can, however, use
the right and left arrow keys to place the cursor at a particular
position. You can also use Ctrl-arrow to go to the next word
and Shift-arrow or Shift-Ctrl-arrow to select
characters. Alternatively, delete the entire string and replace it
with new text.
