As a systems administrator, you may have an existing application with many BEA TUXEDO services. Manually creating these definitions using the Contract Repository Editor may take hours to complete.
The bulk loader utility, ibld
, is a part of the Contract Repository. ibld
reads the formatted text file consisting of the BEA TUXEDO service definitions and "bulk loads" them into the Contract Repository.
If you have used the BEA Jolt system bulk loader, jbld
, note that it mirrors the functionality of the BEA TUXEDO Builder bulk loader program, ibld
, with one exception. Instead of loading services into the Jolt Repository, ibld
loads the services into the Contract Repository.
Note: BEA TUXEDO services are known as operations in the BEA Builder environment.
After the Bulk Loader has populated the Contract Repository, you may edit services, create new services, and group services using the Contract Repository Editor.
See Tasks for information about using the Contract Repository Editor.
