Logon Window

You get the Logon Window when you choose File->Logon from the menu bar. This window prompts you for your host, port number, user name, and passwords. Complete these fields to establish a connection with the machine offering the Contract Repository services.

Fields

The following table explains the fields on this window.

Field Description

Host

Type the name of the BEA TUXEDO host machine that is running the Contract Repository Server in the Host field. The Host field must not be left blank.

Port #

Type the JSL port number in the Port # field. The Port # field must be an integer and must not be left blank.

User

Type the BEA TUXEDO user name in the User field, if required by your server configuration. The User name field must not be left blank and has a 30-character limit.

Password

Type the BEA TUXEDO password in the Password field, if required by your server configuration.

Application Password

Type the BEA TUXEDO application password (8-character limit) in the Application Password field and select Logon, if required by your server configuration.

Note: The first three fields in the Logon window can be set up as defaults in the Settings window to save retyping the fields during future logons. See Setting Logon Options.

Buttons

When you have filled in the fields, click OK to save your changes and close the window. (Or click Cancel to close the window without saving your changes).
