Review Configure and manage Agents and Configure the resource pool for an Agent.
The General tab on the Resource Pools page enables you to configure network interfaces for communicating with the ESX resource pool on which you can deploy the WLOC services. You configure the general properties of the resource pool initially when you create an Agent using the WLOC Configuration Wizard, as described in Configuring the Controller and Agents.
To modify the general properties of the resource pool for an ESX Agent:

Name of the ESX server or cluster. |
Data Center |
Name of the VMware data center. The data center manages the servers, clsuters, and machines for the resource pool. |
Resource Pool |

Standard Out Directory |
Directory to which standard out log files are written. This field defaults to null. |
Use Secure Connections |
Flag that specifies whether to use a secure connection when communicating with the ESX Agent. |
