Create views

Before you begin

To create a view:

Click the Monitoring tab in the WLOC navigation bar.
Click the Views tab.
The list of currently defined views is displayed.
Enter the name of the view that you want to create in the text box and click Add.
The view name is added to the list.
Click the view on the list to make it active.
Add monitoring charts to the view by performing one or more of the following steps:
- Add charts based on standard metrics from the Resources pane. For more information, see Select resources to monitor.
- Add charts based on custom metrics. For more information, see Define custom metrics to monitor.
If WLOC detects a problem with a selected chart, the following message is displayed within the body of the chart: Problem detected. View the events page and log files to troubleshoot the issue, as described in Monitor events and pending approvals and View and configure log and audit messages, respectively.

Control and customize each chart in the view by clicking a chart and performing one or more of the following tasks, as required:

Button	Description
Delete	Delete the selected chart from the view.
Pause	Pause the collection of data for the selected chart.
Resume	Resume the collection of data for the selected chart.
