Delete a Content Item

As an administrator, you can delete a content item from the repository. When you delete a content item, you delete any children content items of the deleted item.

If you do not want to delete children content items of the item you are deleting, use the Move command to move them to another location within the repository before deleting the parent content item.

To delete a content item:

1. In the Browse & Edit Content Resource tree, right-click the content item you want to delete.
2. In the pop-up menu, select Delete.
3. A pop-up window appears confirming that you want to delete the item and all its children. Click OK to confirm the deletion.

The item is then removed from the Resource tree.
