Add a Remote Portlet

When you add a remote portlet, you provide access to the application or content contained within the remote portlet to a portal user. The following procedure describes how to make a portlet available; however, before you can make it available, it has to be added to the All Portlets list, as described in Add a Producer.

To add a remote portlet:

1. In the Portal Resources tree, select Library>Portal Producers.
2. Under Portlet Producers, select the producer that contains the portlet you want to add. The Editing Producer page for the selected producer appears in the Administration Portal.
3. In the Offered Portlets pane, click the Add button associated with the portlet you want to add.

To verify that the portlet was added, open the All Portlets node and ensure that it appears on the list.
