Replicate domain config files for Managed Server independence

Before you begin

The server instance for which you configure Managed Server Independence (MSI) replication does not need to be running.

To configure a Managed Server to replicate a domain's configuration files:

If you have not already done so, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Lock & Edit (see Use the Change Center).
In the Domain Structure panel of the Administration Console, expand the Servers folder and select a server.
In the right panel, select Configuration > Tuning.
Make sure that the Managed Server Independence Enabled box is checked.
Check the MSI File Replication Enabled box.
Click Save.
To activate these changes, in the Change Center of the Administration Console, click Activate Changes.
Not all changes take effect immediately—some require a restart (see Use the Change Center).

After you finish

If the Managed Server is running, restart it.
