Fixed Bin ReplenishmentThis section discusses the fixed bin replenishment workflow.

Event Description |
When you run the Replenishment multiprocess job from the Create Replenishment Requests page, replenishment information is generated for all items in fixed bin locations with quantities below the optimal item quantity defined on the Fixed Picking Locations page. Information about which fixed picking bin locations need additional quantity is placed into the INV_REPLEN_TMP workflow temporary table, which populates a worklist for an assigned user to transfer stock to the fixed picking bin location. |

Action Description |
The application engine process, IN_WFFBREPL, places a task in the assigned user's work list when stock quantities fall below the optimal item quantity defined for the fixed bin. When the user selects the task on the work list, the system populates the EZ Transfers page with the data from the worklist so inventory personnel can transfer the stock. When the transfer is complete, the user identifies the entry as worked to clear the entry from the worklist. |

Fixed Picking ReplenishmentThis section discusses the fixed picking replenishment workflow.

Event Description |
This workflow enables you to stock transfers efficiently from the main warehouse or stockroom to fixed picking locations that need to be replenished. Select the Use Fixed Pick Workflow check box on the Setup Fulfillment-Order Release page if you are using the fixed pick location algorithm and you want the picking plan to initiate the Fixed Pick workflow automatically whenever there is insufficient quantity in the fixed picking locations to fulfill an order. |

Action Description |

This workflow creates an interunit transfer shipment confirmation in the form of an email to the destination business unit. The email is launched from either the Shipping/Issues - Order Summary page or the Express Issue page for interunit transfer orders. To use this workflow, select the Use Ship Notification Workflow check box on the Inventory Definition - Business Unit Options: Shipping Options page. |

Lot AllocationThis section discusses the lot allocation workflow.

Event Description |
When processing completed configured items from PeopleSoft Manufacturing, the Complete Putaway process (INPPPTWY) determines whether an order line is waiting to be lot allocated. The Complete Putaway process creates a worklist entry for order lines associated with the completed production ID. Select the Use Lot Allocation Workflow check box on the Inventory Definition - Business Unit Options page. Available if you have PeopleSoft Product Configurator installed. When you put stock away from a completion that was manufactured to fulfill an order from PeopleSoft Order Management, the Complete Putaway process creates a worklist entry to transfer you to the Allocate Lots page. |
