Creating or Updating Calls for a Contact


Complete the following procedure to create or update calls for a contact. You can update only calls that have not been submitted for processing.

To create or update calls for a contact

  1. Tap Contacts on the application banner to display the Contacts list.
  2. Tap a contact in the list.

    All contact details for the selected contact are displayed in the work area.

  3. Update an existing contact call as follows:
    1. Tap Calls in the work area, then the call that you want to update.
    2. Tap Edit in the work area, update the information as required, then tap Save when finished.
  4. Create a new contact call as follows:
    1. Tap Calls in the work area, then the plus (+) icon.
    2. Enter the information for the new contact call as shown in the following table.
      Field Name
      Description

      Contact

      The contact associated with this call.

      Address

      This field is populated with the contact's primary address information when you select the Contact for the call. To select a different address, tap the address field, and select a record from the pick applet.

      Start Date

      The call start date and time. This field is required if you are creating a new contact call.

      Call Duration

      The duration of the call.

      Comments

      Enter any comments, as required.

      Call Type

      The type of call. Select an option from the Call Type drop-down list.

    3. Tap Save to save the call.
