Viewing and Creating Alerts with Siebel Pharma Handheld Applications


Alerts specific to each contact can be used to track and remind the user of important events.

To view and create alerts

  1. Navigate to the Contacts screen and select Communications from the Views drop-down list.
  2. Tap on the Alerts tab in the toolbar.

    The application displays a list of alerts specific to the contact in context. Some of the fields are described in the following table.

    Field
    Comments

    Category

    Information or Warning.

    Created By

    User who created this alert.

    Duration

    Duration of the alert.

    Expiration

    The date and time on which the alert expires.

    Message

    Text of the alert message.

    Start Date

    Start date from which the alert is applicable.

    Type

    A drop-down list which displays all the available types of alerts in the system.

    Unit Type

    A drop-down list that is applicable to the duration of the alert. Value could be Days, Months, Weeks, or Years.
