Synchronizing and Registering the Handheld Application for Store-and-Forward Messaging

If you use ActiveSync to connect your device to the Siebel Server to perform handheld synchronization, then after the synchronization is completed, and before you tap OK, it is recommended that you reconnect the handheld device to set up a new ActiveSync session. This is because the initial registration and initialization step sometimes fails unless a new ActiveSync session is launched. After handheld synchronization, the Siebel Handheld application automatically starts and registers with the Siebel Server through Store-and-Forward Messaging. The registration requires that the Siebel Handheld application performs a successful initialization step (INIT) with the Siebel Server Handheld Sync component.
