Siebel Hospitality Guide > Capturing Hospitality Opportunities > Applying an Event Template to an OpportunityAfter an opportunity has been created, you can apply an event template or the format of an existing opportunity to the new opportunity to define standard information about that opportunity. For example, you can apply an event template for weddings, where there are a number of standard functions and room blocks that are used for the wedding. Using event templates can reduce the amount of time it takes to create the opportunity. When you apply an event template to an opportunity, you overwrite the existing information in the opportunity with information contained in the template.
