Siebel Life Sciences Guide > Managing Accounts Contacts in Life Sciences > Planning Calls in the Weekly Call Planning ScreenJapanese sales representatives generally plan their Account Contact calls a week or more at a time. For ease of viewing and editing, they prefer to use a calendar that displays Accounts Contacts on the vertical axis and days of the week along the horizontal axis. The Weekly Account Contact Call Planning screen enables sales representatives to easily view and plan their Account Contact calls. Users can double-click any of the cells within the weekly calendar grid to easily and quickly create a call record for an Account Contact on a given day of the week. From this Weekly Call Planning screen, sales representatives can also see whether other sales representatives have also scheduled calls for a particular Account-Contact which allows Sales teams to plan their joint sales efforts more effectively. Managers can also view the planned and completed Sales calls for all of their direct reports, allowing them to better monitor Sales Representatives' activities and suggest any changes as needed. The calls displayed on the Accounts Contacts Call Planning screen are color-coded, so that sales representatives can monitor the status of a particular activity.
