Configuring Enterprise Application Integration Settings for HTTP Indexing

The topic describes the Enterprise Application Integration settings that are required to enable indexing over HTTP. Verify if the settings exist in the file eai.cfg. For more information on configuring Enterprise Application Integration settings, see Integration Platform Technologies: Siebel Enterprise Application Integration.

To configure Enterprise Application Integration settings for HTTP indexing

1. Open the file eai.cfg.
2. Add the following section and settings:

   [SearchDataProcessor]

   Service = Search Data Processor

   Method = GetSiebelData

3. Add the following setting to the [HTTP Services] section:

   SearchDataProcessor = SearchDataProcessor

4. Save the changes.
5. Restart the Siebel Server.
