If a file name is not specified, then the backup file name includes the date and time, using the format siebns.dat_ yyyymmdd_hhmmss . The location of the backup file varies by operating system, as follows:
- On Windows, the backup file is saved into the
admin directory on the Siebel Gateway Name Server installation (GTWYSRVR_ROOT \admin ). This directory is also the directory that contains the siebns.dat file that you backed up.
- On AIX and Solaris, the backup file is saved into the
admin directory on the Siebel Gateway Name Server installation (GTWYSRVR_ROOT /admin ). This directory is not the same location as the directory that contains the siebns.dat file that you backed up. (The siebns.dat file is located in GTWYSRVR_ROOT /sys .)
- On HP-UX and Linux, the backup file is saved into the
sys directory on the Siebel Gateway Name Server installation (GTWYSRVR_ROOT /sys ). This directory is also the directory that contains the siebns.dat file that you backed up.
