Viewing Differences Between the Local Repository and the Server Repository

Before you check in an object, you can compare the version of this object that resides in your local repository to the version that resides in the server repository. Siebel Tools compares the current state of this object to the state of the object that existed when you checked it out.

To view differences between the local repository and the server repository

1. Open Siebel Tools.
2. Choose the Tools menu, and then click Check In.
3. In the Check In dialog box, choose the project you must compare.
4. Click Diff.

   Siebel Tools displays the Object Comparison dialog box. This dialog box lists the projects and any differences that exist between objects that reside in the local repository and objects that reside in the server repository.
